Make Money
- •New player? Do small phone jobs first, then one free big solo mission.
- •Step 1: Farm Raid (free, ~$500K). A break-in job at a chicken factory.
- •Step 2: Save $2.2M for a submarine. It unlocks the island heist.
- •Step 3: Cayo Perico (~$1M per run). Rob a mansion on a private island.
- •Skip supercars and businesses until this loop is making you steady cash.
The solo money path (overview)
This is the fastest reliable path for new players with no friends and no real-money purchases: Contact Missions → Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid → save for Kosatka → repeat Cayo Perico. Total time from zero to steady income: roughly 10–20 hours of play depending on how fast you learn.
Tip: Heist = big paying job. Solo = no friends required. Kosatka = submarine that unlocks Cayo Perico.
Step 0: Contact Missions and Daily Objectives (free)
Before any big purchase, earn small amounts while learning. Contact Missions pay $5K–$30K each. Call Gerald, Lamar, or Simeon from your phone. Daily Objectives (3 tasks per day) add bonus cash and RP on top. Do 10–15 Contact Missions to understand how Online works and bank your first $100K–$200K.
Tip: Enable Passive Mode before each job so random players do not grief you mid-mission.
Step 1: Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid (~$500K, free)
What it is: A solo break-in at a Cluckin' Bell chicken factory. Steal product and deliver it. No property to buy. No crew needed. Pays around $500,000 per run once you are a high enough rank.
Approaches:Find it on your phone under Quick Job or Jobs menu. If locked, rank up with Contact Missions first, you need sufficient RP level.
Tip: This is your first "big paycheck." Repeat it 4–5 times to reach $2.2M for the Kosatka.
Step 2: Save for the Kosatka submarine ($2.2M)
The Kosatka is a submarine you buy from Warstock on your in-game phone (Internet app → Warstock Cache & Carry). It does not earn money by itself, it unlocks the Cayo Perico heist. Do not spend on cars, apartments, or weapons until you have $2.2M saved.
Tip: See Properties 101 for why the Kosatka comes before everything else.
Step 3: Cayo Perico heist (~$1M+ per run)
After buying the Kosatka, go to it on the map and enter the planning screen inside. Scout the island (setup), then run the finale. Rob El Rubio's mansion on a private island, steal cocaine, gold, cash, or artwork and escape by boat or plane. Entirely solo. Experienced players earn $1,000,000–$1,500,000 per run in 45–60 minutes.
Approaches:Stealth: sneak through the compound, fewer guards alerted, harder to master but safer. Loud: fight in with guns, faster but messier. Prioritize cocaine and gold loot, they pay the most.
Tip: The drainage tunnel shortcut (unlocked after scouting) saves time on repeat runs. See the Cayo Perico step-by-step guide for the full walkthrough.
Repeat loop (your long-term income)
Once Cayo Perico is learned: run it → bank $1M+ → optionally buy upgrades (Sparrow helicopter for faster travel, weapon loadout) → run again. Most solo grinders repeat Cayo 1–2 times per session. This funds everything else, cars, apartments, other heists.
Tip: Cooldown between Cayo runs is about 45 minutes real time. Do Contact Missions or Daily Objectives while waiting.
Rough earnings timeline
Hours 1–5: Contact Missions + Daily Objectives → ~$100K–$200K. Hours 5–15: Farm Raid repeats → ~$2.2M saved. Hours 15–25: First Cayo Perico runs (slower while learning) → ~$500K–$1M each. Hours 25+: Repeat Cayo at full speed → $1M+ per hour of play.
Other ways (need friends or big investment)
Team heists (Fleeca, Pacific Standard, Casino) need 2–4 friends and properties costing $200K–$1M+. CEO/MC businesses need millions upfront and are confusing for beginners. Gunrunning, nightclub, and bunker grinding are late-game. Come back to these after Cayo is paying you regularly.
Tip: See the Businesses hub for MC, Bunker, and Nightclub guides when you are ready for passive income.
What not to buy early
Avoid supercars, weaponized vehicles (Oppressor, Deluxo), yachts, Arena War, and multiple properties until Cayo Perico is your steady income. Shark Cards (real money for in-game cash) are optional and never required.
